ORLANDO---Claiming he knows future events and that he will one day get his respect as the Best ABCA GM Ever, John Scott looks to have a tough season ahead of him. The Orlando Magic have only been in the league for a couple seasons and are having troubles matching up with the premiere teams in the legaue.
"Dude, I have Scott Skiles. Scott F'n Skiles! What? Is he going to D-up on Bird, Reggie or Magic?" said John. "Unless Nick Anderson finds some ambrosia or learns to dunk from the 3pt line, I am screwed."
It appears as if the Orlando Franchise is gearing up for a lottery pick in this year's draft. Rumor has it that they are very high on Gary Payton and they think that he will turn out to be a top flight point guard in the league.
"Yeah, we like Gary, but we also like a lot of other players already in the league. We are willing to move our lottery first this year for someone who can help us this year. Or possibly a combo of a player and pick for a player and pick...little help?"
It seems that attendence will be low for the 2nd consecutive year in Orlando. The Magic are writing this year off as rebuilding.
"Yeah, we got some calls on players. The Timberwolves are interested in taking me out to watch some Anime with his friend Joe and called to express interest in Terry Catledge, who certainly can be had," said John.
"Of course we would like to move some players, all these fools are bums and they can get the hell out of dodge!"
