Hawks Trade
Richard Jospeh Raps 02 First
Blazers Trade
Van Horn Stockton
Wow...great deal for the Hawks because Van Horn is a stud and if he doesn't get a point guard...Stockton can possibly start for him still.

Amazing deal for the Hawks...what were the Blazers thinking here?

I dont think its as bad for the blazers..cause now they have front court and other trade options.. they can move horton to sf.. the raps pick i think could be valuable if nothing else to the raptors themselves.. and there 3 big man could mean they trade one for youth cause a lot of other teams need big men..

yeah my team is moving more towards being an outside team.. another reason why landing van horn was nice to go with redd.. ratliff fits this teams profile too cause he plays D and can rebound

KVH is good but i didn't see him as the future for the team who is then? Stoudamire? hes good but a Point Guard can't lead a team by himself. Girecek maybe, if he can pull out some superb TCs. I just thought KVH was your franchise player.

damon and kvh were an awesome combo, and like i said, it was tough to let keith go, but i think my team as a whole has greatly improved

KVH probably was, but this blazers team i think probably needs a new direction, perhaps get young.. he's gained some cap flexibilty (though still needs to deal richmond and ceballos) and another pick in the raps pick.. its a start i think, and his front line still will be solid this year

speaking of which, ceballos anyone? I remember him. I traded him when I knew he was gonna be an immoveable contract. He had a great contract year, and became another immovible contract.

... kvh = probable star in the making Indy, Van Horn wasn't getting any better. He has been a star for years now, but that being said I don't think this is an aweful deal for the Blazers. The wanted to head in a different direction, and I think this is just the first in a number of moves to come. They still have a solid team, Horton is a great SF, much better then that Richmond Ceballos trade.

KVH will get better im almost certain. He won't get THAT much better though via TC...but he could become drastically better in the hands of someone who can get participation points. None the less, I'd still say the edge goes to the Hawks in this deal.
