Magic trade Kenyon Martin Murilo Becker
for
Detroits Jim James Jr Chris Mihm Jerome McMillan and Nets 2nd next year
By far - Detroit benefits from this trade. He gives up some so-so talent for Kenyon Martin - a guy who is still quite a beast. I actually almost would say this is on the brink of being a questionable trade for the committee to look over but - I'll leave that to someone else on the committee to invoke that power if they want to.

Probably could've gotten more for K-Mart, but he should be a good addition for Detroit.

Probably could've gotten more for K-Mart, but he should be a good addition for Detroit. I don't think he could've gotten that much more...maybe like a late first or something like that. K-Mart's ratings are nice but they aren't "sexy" enough for someone to give up a big time player for him.

I there shall be only one.. With this move it probably will mark the first time the magic do not make the playoffs, they probably need to go this direction at this point anyway but it should leave the Atlanta Hawks as the only team to have made the playoffs every year in retro history.

holy crap. What a trade. If i would've known I could've traded two pieces of crap and a second for Kenyon I would've offered. NO offense Orlando, I understand the trade but it does seem a little thin. Kenyon is good and Detroit scares me now.

detroit is looking pretty solid now. and i've got to agree with lakers that there wasn't a whole lot more that they could've gotten for him. he has been fairly steadily declining every year

He just gave away KMart for free? Jim James Jr = no bird rights. Mihm = 4 year contract and he sucks the other dude sucks and 2nds suck.
Could you not at least gotten full expiring?

I agree the Pistons benefitted the most from this, but I have been looking to trade KMart for a week or more. This was the best offer I got, and I will go with it.

I just think you could've held on until closer to the trade deadline and you would've gotten more. Teams right now are in fantasy land not willing to give up on people too soon. I do applaud the efforts of trying to make it your own squad.

It never hurts to make an offer Suns.

The biggest problem with most leagues is that teams sit around and wait for deals to happen. Go out and MAKE Them happen. Throw out offers! Even if they are turned down it gives you an idea of player value, or how what a gm might be looking for.
