ORLANDO---The Orlando Magic have started on their latest campaign to drive ticket sales. With the recent addition of Rod Strickland and Charles Barkley, the Magic feel they can do some damage this year, and with that, have decided they are atleast the best team in Florida.
The new slogan "The Magic, come and see them OWN the Heat!" should ignite an already volitile inner-state feud. The new commercials will begin airing on Florida Television as soon as tomorrow and takes footage from the destruction that Hurricane Floyd cause throughout the state during the summer.
"We hope to have some people from outside of Orlando driving in to see our new squad."
"We also know that with the Heat being a bunch of talentless losers, we should be able to back up our words pretty easily, I mean c'mon, it's the Heat." said John Scott.
Some talent scouts believe that games will be a lot closer and even favor the Heat in some ways. But the Magic won't hear it.
"Nah man, Terry Porter? He dribbles with one hand and has no cross over, he lacks cred. I'll show him" said Rod Strickland.
"No man, on their team can D me up. Coach is right, I'll OWN em! But I can't talk no more, I got to get to the grammar school that I agreed to upon the trade, coach don't want me soundin' like no fool" said Charles "You're not Your" Barkley.
Charles is taking his lessons from famed actor, probably known best for his work on The A-Team, Mr. T.
As soon as Barkley learns to spell and read the Magic could be a deadly force, since to this point Barkley never understood the plays being told to him so he'd just do what he wanted.
Expect big numbers from Charles this year.
Here is a sneak peak of the new commericals. Enjoy.
