(BSPN)- Amare Stoudemire is entering his sophomore year after a storied rookie season in which the young big won the rookie-of-the-year honors. Stoudemire, after a hard-working offseason, in which he represented team USA in the tournement of the Americas, in which USA won. Stoudemire had a strong training camp, and seems more ready than anybody for a monsterous second season.
With a new PG learning the system, his second option Jason Richardson looking like he is on the decline young, and a slower pace gameplan, it seems as if the Bucks has handed Amare the team to lead the reigns. Coach George Karl said, "this is his team. He is going to be the man this year, for the entire season."

Stoudemire who avearged 18.5 PPG, 9.6 RPG, and 2.9 APG last year during his rookie campaign, has improved his post game, his defense, and his rebounding ability over the offseason. He also hit the weight room and put on 10 pounds of pure muscle. The youngster still seems hardworking and still has alot of upside given his size, age, and athleticism.
His improvment has already shown as he had a dominating preseason. Amare averaged 23.4 PPG, 10.4 RPG, 3.9 APG, and 1.8 BPG leading the Bucks to a solid 9-7 record. With a few more tweaks to the lineup, the Bucks could become a better, above-average team, with Amare leading the way. He is still young, and still learning the game to improve during the season, as Amare improves his stats, the Bucks record would improve. This would Amare a valuable player, with meida members around the league noticing, could make Amare a real MVP candidate in their minds.
While Amare is only 22 years of age, and a sophomore in the league, he is more mature than you may think. He is a beast of nature, and more ready than anybody to put up an MVP campaign.
