(AP)- Division I Player of the Year, LeBron James, has decided to forego his senior season and jump into the ABCA draft pool. The sure-thing future superstar is expected to be the first overall selection in the 2006 draft joining future (closer to current) superstars like Chris Bosh, Amare Stoudemire, Dwyane Wade- the first overall selections in the past three drafts. The very versitle LeBron James, joining players such as Utah center Andrew Bogut, Duke swingman Luol Deng is expected to cap off another solid draft class. James told the media, "I am proud to headline the class of 2006." While James' scouts do not see LeBron's potential isn't as high as many expected, his overall game has been looking amazing. With ABCA-ready defensive skills, playmaking skills, and decent rebounding ability- LeBron has shown ABCA scouts that he is more than the nation's leading scorer. Expect teams to intentionally throw games as they all know that the next great ABCA contender could be the winner of a simple offseason lottery. With LeBron's maturity, he would be willing to play for any team, and could make them a far far greater team. He is expected to be one of the greatest players in the history of the ABCA.

Lebron looks like he is going to be better then 75% of the league as a rookie. He is going to make any team about 10 wins better.

Lebron looks very very good right now. I'm hoping he goes WEst.

Lebron saw that the draft class was ridiculously weak and took advantage of that.
Although there would be no question in my mind that in any other draft - he would've been number one.
