We all know the Jazz aren't looking for youngsters. Last night the Jazz didn't take a chance on their draft pick they traded it away for a potential lottery pick in 2008. They are looking to make a move at the title and not look at the future. They had a great opportunity to pick up swing man Trevor Ariza but decided to trade it away. With free agency coming around they are looking at proven players. Not players that have been around for 10 years but players that have talent. Mario is looking for a player that can go into a game and make a difference. Rumor has it that Antonio Mcdyess is looking into making a pay cut to go to the Utah Jazz.
Antonio Mcdyess is 32 years old. Dice is a free agent coming of a max contract. Coming off a good season for the Hornets he is testing the market with the opportunity to walk. Antonio averaged over 21 points and 10 rebounds per game last year. Antonio Mcdyess was raised in Utah (not in real life but in the game his hometown is Utah). Antonio only has a score of 20 for greed and a score of 100 for play for winner. Dice might be looking to go the Jazz after they made it to the conference finals and had the best record in the league.
The Jazz are looking to come back next season stronger than ever. Not only are they looking at experience but they are looking for past champions. They already have Kevin Garnett, Michael Redd and Mateen Cleaves who have already won championships with past teams. The Jazz are also looking to maybe signing Stanley Roberts for what might be his last year in the ABCA. Stanley has won a championship before and played on many winning teams. He has caught great success in Atlanta in past years but not to much with the Grizzlies. It should be a crazy off-season for most teams. Mario is looking to make as many moves as he could but their is only so much he could do because he is 7.7 million dollars away from that hard cap everyone is so scared of. Well see if the Jazz can have a successful off-season and win their first championship ever.
