Who needs to be moved?
Michael Redd
The Spurs do not need Michael Redd and Mike Redd doesn't need the Spurs. Michael Redd would surely benefit a move where he could produce the way he's producing now but on a winning team. The Orlando Magic should explore their options to see if they can acquire him or not. They just got Allen Iverson but they could probably package Iverson and a future first for Redd who can definitely help their cause to make some noise in the eastern conference.
Kenyon Martin
Kenyon was just moved to the Clippers but his status as a long term solution remains in limbo. The Clippers don't have much use for Kenyon because he doesn't fit their youth movement plans. They have stated that they would be open to moving him and should do so as soon as possible. There are plenty of teams in the leagues that could use the services a very versatile power forward in Martin. The Nuggets could possibly try and put together a package for Kenyon if they could get the expiring contracts they need together. The Hornets are also another team who could use him right now. Joe Smith, despite playing well, is old and poor defensively at power forward. Swapping a pick and Joe for K-Mart would be an ideal move for the Hornets who have struggled lately. Another team who could make a move for K-Mart is Toronto who have underachieved this year and could really use another talented player.
Gilbert Arenas
Arenas right now finds himself back with the team that originally drafted though under different management. Gilbert needs to be moved by this team simply because his contract too much of a burden for a team that is in rebuild mode. They are trying to package him with Morrison but haven't been able to come up with an ideal trade. However, expect Gilbert to be gone sometime soon.
Rasheed Wallace
Rasheed is a guy who is wasting his team on a losing team. He's almost near the end of his career and probably only has a couple seasons left. He's still without a championship ring and could really help a team that is a contender. He would probably love to find himself in a similar situation that his former teammate Shaquille O'Neal is in. His contract is not that big right now and perhpas a team like Toronto could make a play for him.
The Miami Duo - Rip Hamilton and Bryant Reeves
Both of these guys don't need to waste their time on a team that is struggling to make the playoffs in the east. Rip is injured right now but when he comes back, he could really be a force offensively since he is having the best year of his career. Orlando again is another team that could be in the discussion for an upgrade at shooting guard. Bryant Reeves is a center who is still dominating and could really help a team that needs a big. Toronto could definitely use Big Country as could the Denver Nuggets. Hopefully these guys will be moved before the deadline.
