Big Horn County Press:
In the never ending tale of Mario Rodriguez, we have learned never to be surprised. After being fired as the mascot of the Los Angeles Clippers for 'allegedly' having inappropriate relations with the gm, Mario finds himself in the news again. This time, Mario has landed at one of the premier carnivals in Big Horn County Wyoming.
In a surprise development Mario was able to be interviewed and his answers may or may not surprise you.
BHCP (big horn county press)- What can you tell me about what happened the other day in Los Angeles?
Mario- All I can say is that Jayborne is an attractive man and that's all my lawyers will allow me to say at this time.
Bhcp- What brought to working at a carnival?
Mario- I've always wanted to use my small hands to my benefit. People have told me I smell like cooked cabbage before and I recently lost a number of teeth when Jayborne's 'significant other' read the newspaper clippings and saw the footage. I have a love of farm animals that my lawyer won't let me talk about in detail and i've never found the ferris wheel all that intimidating.
BHCP- Did you look for other jobs in the league? What teams?
Mario- Sure I did, but who would hire me. I wasn't really a good gm anyway and my mascoting skills weren't so hot. I couldn't jump through hoops, i couldn't slide down the stairs on a skateboard. I certainly couldn't do a backflip or any sort of flips. I got the job because of my relationship with Jayborne. I tried out as team mascot for the Raptors because of my short arms but my teeth were too realistic and scared the children in some of the forums.
BHCP- What is your favorite part of the carnival?
Mario- Three words. Tilt a Whirl. I love it.
BHCP- Is there anything you'd like to tell your fans and admirers?
Mario- Yes, I'd like to tell John Henderson of Cedar Rapids, iowa thanks for his letters of support and not to worry because I didn't show the pictures to the police.
Bhcp- Thanks for your time and good luck in the future. I hear their's a big fair coming up.
Mario- oh yes, they tell me that this fair brings in people from all over the county. That's about 470 people. I can't wait. Thanks for interviewing me and let Prez know that if he has any openings I'll be there.
