Hornets Trade:
Eddie Jones Dion Glover
Raptors Trade:
Glen Rice Gerald Glass Philly 2000 1st round pick Utah 2000 1st round pick
My reasons:
1) I'm not gonna find a player like EJ in the 11-15 range of this years draft, which is where those picks should land
2) I own New Orleans 1st this year and hopefully them losing EJ will in-turn make the pick better for me

Toronto traded 2 late lottery/mid firsts and expirings for a great scorer who is now their youngest player at 27. Doesn't hurt that they got the more talent now from a stuggling team whose pick they own.

Raptors easily unless Utah fucks up humongously.

Raptors easily unless Utah fucks up humongously. Now what are the odds of that?

The Raptors made the Hornets worst by taking away their best player so I don't think there is anyway the Hornets win on this trade unless those two picks become higher than the Hornets first in the draft lottery.

I like it for both. Yeah, I do kind of think the Hornets should have gotten their pick back [and yes, I know they tried, I won't fault them for that] so Toronto really got a bonus, but, the Hornets did get 2 picks, and maybe 2 over 1 will ultimately be the big payoff.
I feel even with Rice they may be better this year, and they have a few moves left in them, they don't need to tank so their pick probably won't be top 3 like it would have been if they did.
But c'mon, EJ. That's a great move for the Raptors. Him and Mookie create a dynamite backcourt. With 2 lotto picks, they can either trade 1 for some talent now, to help the front court, or wait until the offseason.
Sure by then they lose Mookie (unless they trade him, or want to pay him big money, which I wouldn't) next year but EJ and 2 lotto picks could be the start of something nice.
