AI for Ilgauskas and possibly late lottery pick....I'd stick with AI.
But who knows, if the Denver pick goes up a few spots, it might get better.

Where is the "both" option?

I like it for both. While Houston easily gets the best player, Denver now has the opportunity to tank with that pick.

actually, ai was really hyped up when he still had high scouted potential, now he looks like a star, but not superstar

horrible deal... this is the main reason i think new gms should have to get approval from either the trade committee or the commish so deals that are bad for the league or bad in general can be avoided..

If Denver is reading this thread...don't be offended by what Orlando and Atlanta said because I went through it before when I was brand new a couple months ago. It takes a while for people to get used to how people value players in this league.

I don't like it on either end. Nuggets lose a huge young star and Houston loses a huge young post player for another sg. Houston is putting him at pg but still 3 pgs?

It really does take a while to determine values. I still am really learning and am very gunshy about dealing with certain gms. I just won't forget how when I first joined and that night I got the worst trade offers imaginable just to see what would happen. I don't know about censoring the deals, but something would need to be done to ensure the league's integrity.

While I don't like the trade, AI is highly overrated since he dropped in TC this year, I see him staying about where he is and just being a Stacy Augman type player.

IAWTP, but still because of the overrated type of player AI is he could have got much more for him. Remember he was pretty much traded for Joe Smith and Smith>>>>Z

I think this trade is BS because why did the Nuggets do it to get their pick back? They were/are a good enough team to make the playoffs, the pick won't be worth nearly what they gave up for it...
It was just a bad move..
At best this pick is 9, if they are lucky, and you think you can get someone who will fill an AI Void? I know they got Z, but c'mon, he isn't a very talented C, he is just a younger one...
AI is better than what he got for it... would have been nice to get a chance to make an offer on him... I am sure 90% of the league feels that way..

I agree with orlando here.. teams would have loved to just offer.. i know i made a token offer but never got any counters or responces.. from what i understand denver went to houston aobut this trade. If so why not ask for two draft picks at least not a garbage pick and a young center ..
