yes it is true prezz, here is basically what happened. I said welcome to the new Denver Gm and asked if he was interested in any trades. He said of course. I said I liked Iverson along with quite a few other guys. He then said what about Iverson for Z and Nuggets pick. His reasoning is that he wants to build around a big man, (which is a good philosophy IMO) and he gets insurance with his pick back. Basically thats the story, dont' be too hard on the gent, we have all made mistakes and can trade our way out of them. On a side note I think this is the first deal I have ever done without having to barter for an hour. It was pretty nice.

I couldnt agree with Aaron more, while I couldn't have offered his pick back (which I dont really see that as a high point in this deal) I could have offered a younger and cheaper JO and Campbell for filler.. but I never got the chance.. and he'll never know if he could have done better.
He should have certainly got 2 picks though, cause the Denver pick is pretty worthless to him since tanking really isnt an option and thats the only reason you ever want your own pick back.

AI was never really overrated till he didn't improve in TC and lost his B potential

and went down to B+ defense, and what's this shit about agreeing with john about AI being overrated? I said that. I've been saying that since he was drafted.
