Bulls Trade Richard Hamilton 2003 Bulls 1st
Lakers Trade Larry Hughes 2002 Mavericks 1st
the 2 last choices dont make sense but there were so many blank spaces.

i voted bulls, i just might be a huge Larry Hughes fan in real life. but i think B- B- to C+ C+ offense isnt as big a difference as C+ to A- defense.

I like it for the Bulls also. I'd rather have Hughes' D than Rip's O. I don't think the Bulls 03 1st will be worth anything, and I think the Mavs MIGHT be a lotto, if their players don't fully develop by then. Either way, I don't think the picks will be too significant.

Hughes any day over Rip. Mavs pick is questionably good.

I'd take Rip and keep my own pick. Rip is 1 year out of the draft, Hughes is 2-3, you gotta give rip 2-3 seasons of development before you can compare them.
I don't think the AI experiment will pay off, I think the Bulls = screwed.

I just liked Rip Hamilton because his contract is one year longer than Larry Hughes and he's only been through one training camp and his ratings are already the way they are. And I think the Mavs pick won't be as good since they have so many youngsters and I can't imagine all of them becoming busts....

While the Mavs got 3 very good players, they aren't Artests or Martins. They're gonna take 2-3 seasons to develop to good players. Great trade for the Lakers though. Rip is 1 TC into the league and will be twice the player that Hughes is.

Why are Rip Hamilton and Larry Hughes even options?

You already had Ron Mercer to score. Hughes was your defenseive stopper. If Rip can get his defense up to B or B+ then he will be a really good player...put some points into him.
