Cavaliers:
Tracy McGrady Phil Nesby Cavaliers 2004 1st rounder
for
Knicks:
Shandon Anderson Jamal Mashburn
It's a good move for both but probably more of an edge to New York since he's trying to get younger....I think Cleveland definitely could've gotten away with the deal without giving that first.

knicks get a steal. mash is putting up some good numbers but for him to go for an up and coming star like tmac plus a pick...

Not the greatest deal for the Cavs but still it isn't horrific. Mashburn has definate skill and could definately boast the Cavs. Atleast this gm is doing something.

Loving it for the Knicks.
They get a young STUD AND a first for a player in his prime (and they don't want to win).

knicks get best player, a pick for a guy who is getting older. Wow not a good deal for the Cavs at all.

I like it for the Knicks. Mash should secure the Cavs a playoff spot, but at the cost of Tracy McGrady and a 1st? That's a bit much I think.

I'm not sold on Tracy McGrady....he's basically only got his name to make people think he's a proven player - making him overrated. He hasn't amounted to anything in his tenure with Cleveland. He looks like the next Allen Iverson to me.
However, the Cavs really should have sold high on T-Mac because he could've probably squeezed a little bit more out of the Knicks. Maybe some more role players to help out with his playoff push. He definitely should have forced New York to take Mike James from him and a couple of this other crappy players who are under contract.

That is very true, you also have to think that his contract is huge if he busts.

tmac is no bust at all...we'll all see him take off now that he is managed by someone decent. no offense cleveland. It is TMAC and a first for Mashburn. that's bad.
