This is an easy no brainer for me, I would of course take Pau, but if I had to choose someone else, I would go with Amare. I think in a playoff series a stud big man make all the difference. Not only can he score and rebound, but he can get the other teams big men in foul trouble and can completely take them out of the game.

I'll go with Amare, the ability to be able to pass at C is extremely useful, and to handle the ball and create more opportunities for one's self with his speed/strength makes him virtually unstoppable.

Amare is the way to go I can't help but think he is the one to select.

Melo is the man, and i'd take him over any of these guys any day, but as was shown by my last series against the Mavs, Pau is a force that is hard to overcome. i see him leading to mavs to a repeat this year

Amare's got all the ratings yet he hasn't done anything in a weak Eastern Conference.

Amare's got all the ratings yet he hasn't done anything in a weak Eastern Conference. He brings up a good point. Although he could use a better supporting cast, we will see how things go in Atlanta.
