DALLAS - At 12:50 AM on January 18, 2005, the Dallas Mavericks completed the first phase of many in their plan to become a championship contender by acquiring new starting shooting guard Alvin Robertson.
The deal with the Chicago Bulls sent newly acquired Alvin Robertson and Craig Hodges in exchange for William Bedford, Steve Kerr, and rookie Jimmy Oliver.
This recent trade by Dallas to acquire a SG was after much ridicule from other GMs in the league who laughed at the organization for their promise to become an Elite team within 3 seasons.
In a recent Press Conference, Low addressed this matter.
Robetson averaged 8.1 ppg, 4.6 rpg, and 1.8 spg for Portland in 18 preseason games.
He averaged 6.3 ppg, 4.6 rpg, and 2.0 spg for the Magic in 82 games last season.

I'm usually the first to take a shot at you Dallas, but this is a solid move that points you in the right direction. Robertson is no spring chicken, but you can't dispute his defensive prowess. I hated to see him go personally, but I've coveted Curry since day one in this league.

The Bulls have been making some questionable moves if you ask me. They were one of the hottest teams in Preseason and idk why they feel the need to change so much. especially with the trade with Mavs.
my vote is yes.

Next step for you Dallas is to get a better bench.
