The Jazz have been the best they have been in a while. Coming of a lottery season they are looking to come back and meet expectations. After Kevin Garnett missed most of last season he is back and with a vengeance. The Jazz were expected to make the playoffs last year but fell short. After a few trades and some free agent additions the Jazz are contenders and ready to go. They seemed to have some problems as the season started though and their are more to come.
The season started didn’t start of to well for the Utah Jazz. They lost to the Suns after blowing a 29 point lead. That was only one game though and not many people lost hope. It was only two games in the season and things got even worse. In the forth quarter of that game starting point guard Chris Duhon went out with a back injury. He was knocked over by Allen Iverson who intestinally fouled him. Duhon was out for 43 days and the Jazz were destined to have another injury-full season. Even though things started of bad for the Jazz it got a little brighter. The Jazz came out with a vengeance and won 20 out of their next 22 games. With everything going well another injury stroke. Chris Webber also went out with an injury. Chris’s injury was also serious making him miss at least 1 month of basketball. Well with sim 6 coming up Chris Duhon is expected to come back as well as Chris Webber should be cleared to play against the San Antonio Spurs. Well after this sim everything should have been okay with all the injuries clear right Nothing is clear now that Kevin Garnett has stated that he is not happy with Jerry Sloan.
The Jazz have a huge dilemma because Kevin is their superstar and they need to keep him happy. Without Kevin Garnett this team will definitely not be as good. Kevin had this to say about Sloan after a defeat from the Timber-wolves, “They expect way to much from me (Jerry). I did all I can to try to get this win and then he wants to (bleep) blame this on me? That is (bleep)”. Jerry had this to say to reply “We just have a misunderstanding and everything will turn out to be okay. Don’t think this will continue because once I get out of here I will make sure everything is fine”.
Well their you have it. The Jazz have had some bad luck and it looks like Jerry Sloan is causing some problems but it looks like everything will get better as the Jazz fight for the best record in the league.
