Realize that I only made about half the file, so I will only give insight onto the players I made.
-Derrick Caracter is easily the strongest player in this draft. He's also the laziest.
-Although an amazing athlete, questions about Michael Beasley's commitment have followed him since high school. But when he turns it on, he is unstoppable.
-There are two players in this draft who can dominate a game in a multitude of ways, they are Ricky Rubio and Greg Monroe.
-Greg Monroe has been compared to Kevin Garnett, even down to his team first attitude.
-Scouts are vary of Tyreke Evans, due to a sophomore slump that saw him go from Freshman of the Year and MOP candidate, to Honorable Mention All-ACC.
-Evan's teammate, Tywon Lawson isn't a great scorer, but will beat the opposing team down the court all game.
-Brook Lopez is easily the best of the Lopez brothers, who some fear are the next Jarron and Jason Collins.
-Contrary to the stereotype around white shooters, Kyle Singler is a very scrappy kid on defense.
-Petteri Koponen tested out as the worst athlete in the combine, but he looked great in the 5-on-5 workouts.
-Artem Zabelin seems to think he's the next Dirk. Apparently he knows something that we don't.
-The guy most ready to contribute to an NBA franchise is Thaddeus Young. He could start on a contender. The question is, will he get better?
-Looking for the classic guard with no real position? Look no further than Jerryd Bayless. He really isn't a PG or a SG, but he definitely can penetrate and score.
-The craziest thing that happened during the Pre-Draft Camp? The dunk-off between Michael Beasley and Chase Budinger. The consensus opinion among the players was that it was a draw.
-He may never be a star, but Earl Clark is somewhat of a poor mans Scottie Pippen.
-D.J. Augustin is extremely quick, but he is far too weak for finish around the basket. He struggles against big guards too.
-He can block shots, he rebounds, he has a jumper, and he drives his coaches crazy because he absolutely refuses to finish around the rim. He's Tim Ohlbrecht.
Overall
There are quite a few good players in this draft. A lot of the picks are really toss-ups, it will be interesting to see how things shake up. Their may be one or two disappointments, and plenty of surprises.
