Title should be: Rookie Scouting Report - Name (Position)
John Havlicek pos: SF ht: 6'5'' wt: 203 age: 22 in: B- out: C+ hnd: C+ def: B reb: C+ pot: A
PROs: John Havlicek is a team player. He does everything well. Find me a skill this guy doens't have. He can get to the rim, he can shoot the jumper and hit from the perimeter. He can pass, practically play Point Guard, he is a solid defender and an above average rebounder. Did I mention his upside yet? Because he has a ton of it. He should turn into a legit Franchise Player who is capable of turning around any team.
CONs: He is a bit small for a Small Forward, but some teams might consider playing him at the Point or the Shooting Guard positions. Maybe a bit low on shooting or passing, right now, to play those positions, but who knows how quickly he will develop his abilities. Overall he has very little he needs to work on, but maybe his scoring average will be a bit lower than some of the other players taken in this draft, but long term, he is a keeper.
OVERALL: I see John as the most well balanced player in the draft. If you have a specific need at Power Forward or Center and have a good Small Forward then maybe going another direction is better for you, but overall, if you had nothing on your team I would take Havlicek #1.
Projected Pick: #1-3 [Should be #1 though]
