As the #1 kobe dickrider you guys have ever seen this is a sickening day for me. It still hanst kicked in, and will probably take a few days to do so if he dont change his mind or lakers say that he wont be traded.
If kobe is traded Laker nation would be crushed and most of us would have no idea who to root for. Im just hoping that lakers will tell kobe that he will not be traded and we get JO in the offseason and all of this goes away.
I also heard something about how phil will not be back next year because buss dosnt wanna pay him 10mill or something because the lakers want to go in a long term rebuilding mode and dont want to pay him that much.
I think kobe feels betrayed after being misled about the future and dosnt wanna waste the rest of his career in a francise he cannot trust. Steven A Smith also said that shaq feels bad for kobe and think the lakers set him up.
im to depressed to say much of anything else. im going to go to sleep to avoid my pain

If Kobes demands get stronger then i think they would have to do it
Kobe taking over MJs spot would be very wierd
Hinrich/Kobe/Nocioni/PJ/Wallace
Duhon/Thabo/TT

Seriously, Kobe deserves better than the Lakers.
They have treated him like shit. They re-signed him to that big deal, making it seem like they wanted to win with him, but have gone into rebuilding mode. When your gameplan is "give Kobe the ball and let him score 50 points+ leading the team to victory single-handedly," you should not expect Kobe to be happy.
Moves such as trading Butler for Kwame or not bringing in a real starting PG (Smush Parker? ARE U FUCKING KIDDING ME?!?!). They had a shot at Artest, they had a shot at Baron, they had a shot at Kidd, and the list goes on. If you have Kobe Bryant and Phil Jackson, then your intention should be to win now. But Jim Buss is a fucking dumbshit who does not deserve to be a president of a basketball team.
Now on top of that u have this insider talking out of his ass (and Kobe suspects he knows who it is).
Sorry, but Kobe deserves better than this classless, dishonest, organization.

I would do cartwheels from here till forever if somehow he got greedy and said i want to be traded to the Knicks. ohhh plz, give me something to look forward this summer lol
Other than a greedy demand by Kobe, i don't see the Lakers trading him to the Knicks...

NY needs a superstar. It is the biggest market in our nation with the best basketball stage in the nation (Madison Square Garden).
They have the pieces to get it done, they have the GM willing to give up anything (despite being a complete dumbfuc as a GM/coach), questions are will they get it done? Will Kobe waive his no-trade-clause to play in a losing situation like NY?

Bennice, here is a question I have for you. If the Lakers could trade Kobe and get someone who would immediately keep them in the playoffs and possibly go further than the 1st round (hypothetically), would you still miss Kobe?

if the Lakers didn't give Caron Butler away like they did, they would be one move away.

If they woulda had Butler they didn't have to sign Radman and then woulda signed a Center by using their MLE.

Perhaps a youngster who could develop into the best player in the game. As a part of a package giving him a stronger supporting cast.
It is a good question IMO.

Bron or Wade will not be traded. Other than that i dont see dwight, bosh, arenas, melo, oden, durant going anywhere........well maybe the picks to get durnat or oden could be involved to get kobe.
