When I first saw the deal, I thought: "What does Milwaukee even have to make a blockbuster deal." Then I thought of Joe trading Kenyon Martin for a pick, and I was right. If it's #1, it won't be a bad move.

I agree, bad move for the Bucks, who probably just missed out on getting Yao, who could have defined their team for years to come.

Oh okay so now Yao Ming is in this draft.
Then yeah now that Yao is in this draft, this sucks for the Bucks if his pick is the first overall pick.

it'll still suck even if it's #2 or #3.. I think both Gasol and JRich will be better than Kmart

Joe doesn't need Jefferson or Jrich. If its yao or gasol then its a great deal. Martin sucks in the NBA...he's turning into a big cancer...all he needs now is to go to the Knicks..

Lol at Martin becoming a cancer. Kenyon Martin was already a cancer....he was just in remission when Jason Kidd came to the Nets. Kenyon Martin is still solid though and with a lot of points put into him, he could possibly be a dominant presence in this league.

I can't understand why Drew would make this deal...

I can't understand why Drew would make this deal... He needs a young big guy to complement Maggette, and Martin is a better prospect than Gasol, who was the best big at the time.

I think the Rockets got the better deal also. Even without Yao, the pick was Gasol or J Rich, but now that Yao's in it, it's even worse.

dont forget im only 4 games behind cavs perhaps i could pick up those gmaes in the end of the season.
i also question why i made this deal, but ill still be a playoff team next year the way things are looking.

Yeah but either way, if your one of worst 4 teams in the league, theres still a greater probability for one of them to get the number one pick. You may luck out and your pick could fall to number two or three.

And Drew, why give up the Nets pick, was #1 not enough?!
WTF....
Knicks 02 = shit.
This trade should almost be looked at, it was lie #1 and #15 for KMart, the #4 pick last year...
